Ranch Dressing (Low Sodium)

  • ½ cup dry buttermilk powder
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup low fat sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp real mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup skim milk


  1. Combine dry buttermilk powder, parsley, dill, onion powder, garlic powder and pepper.
  2. Add 1 Tbsp of the dry mix to the sour cream, mayonnaise & milk.
  3. Use as salad dressing or as a raw vegetable dip. Store leftover dry ranch mix in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Episodes are hosted by registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator Andrea Miller, and each features a different special guest sous chef. The goal of Live It is to showcase nutrient-dense foods and teach viewers doable ways to use them in order to promote wellness in our community. Held once a month at Bryan Hospital, the show is recorded by Bryan Municipal Utilities in front of a live all-staff audience.
