Chili Lime Asparagus

  • 1 large bunch of asparagus
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • Salt to taste (optional)
  • Lime zest (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Wash asparagus and trim off the woody ends.  
  4. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Whisk the olive oil, chili powder and lime juice together in a small bowl.
  6. Drizzle mixture over asparagus and roll asparagus to coat.
  7. Roast 15 minutes or until asparagus is tender.
  8. Serve sprinkled with lime zest and salt if desired.

The goal of Live It is to showcase nutrient-dense foods and teach viewers doable ways to use them in order to promote wellness in our community.
