Offered at Montpelier Hospital
When someone has a physical disease or damage to their brain, getting an evaluation from a neuropsychologist can be an important step to recovery. Together, Dr. Joan Lawrence and assistant Judy Vasquez conduct thorough clinical assessments to test executive functioning, fine-motor dexterity, attention, speed of information processing, reasoning, memory and numerous other pieces that affect a person’s well-being and ability to function. Referrals for neuropsychological assessments are necessary; Dr. Lawrence recommends that if things “just don’t seem to be clicking right,” to see a doctor about a referral so recovery happens sooner rather than later.
