certified wound care specialists provide advanced care for:

- Infected wounds
- Ostomies
- Urinary incontinence
Working with the patient’s personal physician, our wound
care nurses complete a thorough assessment of the patient and the wound
during the first visit. Additional testing may be needed.
The nurses will develop a plan of care specific to the patient’s
needs and goals. In addition, they educate the patient so he/she can be
actively involved in his or her own wound care.
The sooner a patient seeks treatment for a wound, the sooner it can begin
healing.
