Adult Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization
In 2001 CHWC opened an adult diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Bryan. The Lab was created to meet the need for
locally based options for catheterizations. Damoder R. Kesireddy, M.D. is a longtime Cardiologist with the Bryan Medical
Group, Dr. Kesireddy has been performing catheterizations a Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana for many years. Dr.
Kesireddy serves as Co-Medical Director of our Lab with R.L. Karnik, M.D., a Cardiologist with the Defiance Clinic.
Our catheterization lab is designed to work within guidelines for appropriate patient management set by the Ohio Department
of Health. We maintain a regular reporting process on patient outcomes. The equipment for the service is state of the art
was installed in a specially designed operating suite in February 2001. We anticipate that over 200 catheterizations will be
performed every year at CHWC.
